Well done, over 20 grand @ 1.01 traded. I laid the other Godolphin runner Portamento and that was never in danger of winning.

Fab wasn't it. Seems to have upset one long-standing gentleman on the HR Forum though.

btw…. S&GC….. don't scold me but I've suggested another Politics Forum bet for you… you know, the sort you won't get paid out on.
regards etc |

it's on the thread you started about the "mass debaters".
Sorry to waste your time and all that. 1.01 you'll win the bet and won't get paid. |

03 Apr 15 16:20 Well done, over 20 grand @ 1.01 traded. I laid the other Godolphin runner Portamento and that was never in danger of winning. I layed Primrose Valley and Blue Aegean, and thought I had done me dosh. Also layed Hidden Gold in the 4-45. |

Thanks Alun.

Damn, was on Anglophile there. I was tempted to lay Hidden Gold as well but backed the other one instead

I rarely back these days.
I missed the start of the new lay comp on the HR forum. I'd still be standing. |

A pleasing acceptance of the "challenge" indeed S&GC.

Wolverhampton fillies and mares lost 43 consecutive races in March |
|
By:
horse misogynist ?
or are mares and fillies afraid to get in front of the colts' dangly bits ? |
|
By:
My stats database, fillies and mares aren't much good in mixed sex races on the AW, at any course.
There have been some fairly big priced winners since Jan 1st, but they are outweighed by loads of smaller priced losers. Even after laying that 66/1 winner of the 4 horse race the other day, you don't lose a lot because of the other losers on the same card. This month: 10 at Chelmsford - 1 winner at 6/5, shortest price loser was 11/4 24 at Dundalk - 2 winners 9/2 and 8/1, shortest price loser was 9/4 13 at Kempton - 1 winner st 14/1, shortest price loser was 7/2 6 at Lingfield - all beaten, shortest price loser was 5/2 10 at Wolverhampton - all beaten, shortest price was 13/8. 6 at Southwell - 1 winner at 66s, shortest price loser was 11/4 |
