We have Meter Reader opportunities in the EH1-17, EH20-22 & EH1- 42, EH47-55 postcode areas for immediate interviews!
Applicable Postcodes: EH1-17, EH20-22 & EH1- 42, EH47-55
On Target Earnings of £17,000+ with additional mileage allowance, PPE and Hand held Terminal.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday - 08.04.15

Working as a Meter Reader for Search Solutions you can do just that!
The Role:
- Working with Search Solutions you will represent many of the UK's leading energy providers, visiting a wide variety of customers at their homes
- You will work within 30 mile radius of your home address and mileage is fully expensed from the moment you leave your house.
- Visiting people at their homes you will be reading their gas and electricity meters, completing visual safety checks and accurately recording your readings onto a handheld terminal
- You will plan your own route and manage your diary and workload to achieve the targets set for that day/week
The Hours and the Reward……
- Full time 37 hours per week, working between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday including 2-3 evenings per week with occasional Saturdays
- 20 hour contract also available.
- £12,506 basic
- 28 holiday days
- 20p mileage allowance
- Long term ongoing opportunity
- Full training and ongoing support

- Your own working car
- A home phone / live land-line
- Desire to work outdoors

How do you run a car on a salary of £12K a year please?
The Tax office say 40p a mile for cars before you are making a profit so 20p hardly fookin generous either |

i thought they were replacing all the meters with some sort of self read facility. new meters. i don't let anyone in my building. just phone in the reading or do it online.

I send my readings in when requested then about a week later some chump from the provider turns up to check i'm not lying.....so self reading a complete waste of time.
