Just heard from one of her daughters that Winnie Moore(mother of the late Gary Moore) passed away today. She was a lovely lady and at 82 she had a good innings. RIP

Sad news. Cynthia was a lovely woman.

She was too good for John. I think that he realised that.

Sweet and gentle person, sad news.

Cynthia's book " A Twist of Lennon" is very good indeed on the early days of The Beatles.. for any other Beatles anoraks apart from me out there.

I remember her as having great dignity.
