Distance: 178 Yards
Brief Description: A downhill shot from a raised tee to a smallish triangular shaped green, surrounded by water on all sides and OOB down the left. Pin located in shallow part of green about 2 yards from back apron.
Weather Conditions: 40-45 mph wind gust across from left/into face
Shot Description. A 'baby' draw into the flag with a 5 Wood
Result: Plugged in Green about 10 foot from flag
Score: 3 (missed birdie putt to left by about an inch)

7ft uphill putt..no break..dead straight...horseshoed around the cup before reluctantly disappearing.Hainault golf course 18th hole, this afternoon bottom course.It won me the money which was all i cared about.

Golf is a great leveller Slippy that's so true.

I once did the following at my course, 21 in 7 holes:

7th Hole 2 (Par 3)
8th Hole 4 (Par 4)
9th Hole 3 (Par 4)
10th Hole 3 (Par 3)
11th Hole 3 (Par 4)
12th Hole 3 (Par 3)
13th Hole 3 (Par 4)

Then the 14th Hole: Dumped in water

My shot of the week was a 4 iron to the 17th - about 155 yards away 3rd shot to a long par 5 but hard wind into and from the right - my mate who I was playing against was a yard ahead - didnt need a full shot but all about keeping under wind so smooth swing to 30 feet (holed the following putt but this is atypical) mate cut it right on the wind

normally shot of week for me are chips or putts cos long game doesnt stack up off 9 against better players but this shot won me the cash this week - next week I'll carve it and curse the heavens but enjoy the good ones
