In other betting news, a Sky Bet customer won £104,090 after landing an each-way accumulator on the first day of the Flat turf season at Doncaster.

The punter collects the six-figure sum after backing the winner of the Spring Mile and Lincoln as well as another race on Town Moor and a race on the all-weather at Kempton.

Details of the bet below:

Chatez                                  14/1       3.10 Doncaster

Gabrial                                 12/1       3.45 Doncaster

Ninjago                                13/2       4.35 Kempton

Sheriff Of Nawton                      9/2         4.50 Doncaster

Sky Bet's Michael Shinners said: "In picking the winner of the Lincoln and the consolation race our customer has found the winners of the two hardest races of the day.

"Ninjago was far from easy to find and the bet was completed with Sheriff Of Nawton winning a division of the apprentice handicap back at Doncaster. To pick those four winners in the space of 90 minutes is an incredible achievement."

As if he thought those were the real prices. The postie in question is obviously a chancer. I'm sure we can all "emphasise" with that!

Just like Mikael, all I got from the article was
"Their ruling said: “The Panel can, of course, emphasise with the customer that he has not received a life-changing payout."

There was a time when the Chit Chat Forum was the unofficial HQ of the Postal Workers Union, with any number of forumites walking at 4.5 miles and hour to deliver the mail by around 5pm.  You couldn't move around in here for all the red elastic bands over the floor dropped by men in ridiculous shorts.

Great to see the name CC64 on here again. A postman you can trust all day with your parcels.

Certainly not the sort of postman who would 'accidentally' deliver MY parcels to my attractive female next door neighbour, who was in the habit of opening the door in  her shorty dressing gown with not much underneath.

Too late !  The postman is keeping that job for life !!  He doesn't want to retire. Says he will do the job on a voluntary basis forever.

I placed an ante post bet years ago with a major firm and a similar palpable error occurred on my slip which I didn`t notice until after the event. I bet a pony e/w on a 33/1 shot (which won) and the girl had marked 3/1 on my betting slip. They were adamant that it was my responsibility to ensure the slip was correct and were determined not to pay me at the correct odds. Took me 2 months to get my money.

.... regards this bet the guy is a chancer.

I can't believe some of the posts underneath the article agreeing that he should be paid. Clueless bastards.
