I think you are missing an important bit of information regarding how the phone is used.
An old f@rt like me just uses the phone for phone calls whereas I'm aware that a younger person might access the internet, use banking services, even place bets on gambling sites. The latter would need a higher level of security than the former.

I did it but Q8 should really have a don't know option, since I didn't understand it. I've never been rooted or sent to jail, so I ticked no.

I have no idea what Q8 meant.

Not bothered about viruses etc as I only use it to make phone calls and take the occasional photograph, not for the internet.

I did have it paired with my PC for a short while, but it slaughtered the battery life so I turned it off.

Did it ask for your phone number?

I only asked because of what spelling said re viruses.

Hey guys, didn't expect such a great response, thanks a lot.
Also appreciate the feedback, unfortunately didn't have the time to do much of a pre-test, so was aware there may have been a few dodgy questions but hopefully it wasn't too bad. I'll put the issues raised into my critical reflection section.
