justice served finally. the idea it actually got to court was laughable

Their legal system seems to be a mess, from what I've read on it.
It's almost what you'd expect in a banana republic, which is a shame as Italy itself is great. Rome is even better than Scunthorpe for a naughty weekend away. |

You would certainly need to take precautions

The sad thing about this tragedy is that many seem to forget that a young English girl was brutally murdered and the family have had no justice.

Not true. Rudy Guede was convicted of Meredith Kercher's murder. It was Guede who accused Knox and Sollecito, who have both just bee cleared. There was a great deal of forensic evidence against Guede but none to speak of against Knox and Sollecito. |
|
By:
but none to speak of against Knox and Sollecito.
There was the knife from solletico's kitchen was there not? Although the strength of that evidence was brought into question |
|
By:
It was incredibly small amounts on that knife was there not? WTF would he keep a murder weapon lying around anyway?
The crime scene handlng from what I remember was pretty amateur, god knows what their evidence handling is like. |
|
By:
Yes minute traces, that is correct. A total shambles from the start, they missed the clip from Meredith's bra on the first search, a key piece of evidence, only found some weeks later still lying on her bedroom floor.

IF Amanda Knox really had nothing to do with it, why did she put the black barman in the frame ?
|
|
By:
I do not know if she did it or not
But after 4 attempts I sincerely hope they now give upI feel very sorry for the Meredith Kercher family |
|
By:
If she did it they should have got her in 1
Her behaviour was suspicious, but they never found the evidence to close it One is presumed innocent until proved guilty as far as I am concerned |

Hound-Dog-2
IF Amanda Knox really had nothing to do with it, why did she put the black barman in the frame ? I didn't follow the case that closely so could you please expand on that point. Thanks. |

I have no idea akabula, I felt she knew more than she admitted, but did not feel they had proved her involvement in the murder I do not like prosecution appeals, once her appeal was accepted, that should have been the end just my own opinion |

Justice is easy in this country
If you are a women you are always believed If you are a man you are never believed and we do not bother any more about things like evidence Although this case would have been challenging for us a woman victim, and a woman accused we may have actually had to look at the evidence ![]() |

"I didn't follow the case that closely so could you please expand on that point. Thanks."
In the early part of it she implicated an innocent man. My point was, if she is so innocent and hard done by why did she frame an innocent guy. If she is truly innocent she knows how that feels, BUT she had no problem doing it to another. Later Knox has claimed she did it because the police wanted her to name him....... Seems Knox had an answer to everything. |
|
By:
That does seem strange. The act of a callous individual even if the police suggested it.
|
|
By:
A small trace if her DNA on the knife....................NONE on her DNA in the room where the crime took place
|
|
By:
agree with racing .........right verdict
|
|
By:
the prosecutor's theory that it was some sort of drug fuelled orgy gone wrong seemed absolutely preposterous from day 1
much more likely that guede acted alone |
|
By:
nobody on here has called her by her rather nice nickname foxy knoxy

Ah a woman poster who has not been believed I take it Cobblaz
Well I can only speak from experience and observation I have seen too many men convicted on the unsubstantiated statements by women which I believe to be false Have you seen our unfair divorce laws? So while I admit it may not apply in all cases, I shall defend my bullsh1te |
