Yes...we need your bank account number, sort code and internet password.

Why have you been saving household bills for 10 years? Are you hoping they'll be worth something eventually?

I've no idea what the OP is really asking but try (in the folder) right click and sort by date.
Or when you save them, start the file name with the date written "backwards" -- YYYY-MM-DD eg 2015-03-27-tesco |

A file saved from the internet will normally be set to the current time so if you order by modified date in windows explorer they should be correct, assusming you saved in order?
By:
That works if your computer is the same one you had 10 years ago. Transferring files from machine to machine is likely to leave "date modified" well fcked.
By:
There is a created time and a modified time, copying screws up one but I think leaves the other ok, so I think you can get bizarre things like modifed being before created.
Explorer I think only shows one by default, if you show the other one and order by that, you might be ok? |

If OP is copying them from machine A to machine B then ... hmm.
On A -- rename them to include the date in the name -- which I guess is beyond the OP. See if there is an option to zip or archive them first -- then transfer the archive file from A to B -- then unzip it on B: this will preserve the creation dates. Or (as @Just Checking says) explore sorting by the other dates: right click in folder > sort by > MORE > then scroll down to the various dates available. |

When you see the issues here then you come to the conclusion that either computers aint that clever or are too clever.
