This was after he won £175,000, of course.

As Dr Spooner may have said, she's a 'sold digging glut'
Martin T. lived a life of pain and misery. One morning his luck changed. He won £175,00 playing an online game...that he was PAID to play!
On a cold day last February, Martin got fired by his boss, out of thin air, with no explanation. He was crushed. He had always bounced from job to job, but somehow managed to make ends meet. Until now.
He hunted around for a new job, calling everyone he knew, but with the market tight, he had zero luck. Martin's credit card debt grew to a shocking £9,829. He had no savings and was on the verge of eviction. Then Martin got a phone call that tore him apart. His beloved girlfriend and childhood sweetheart, Melissa, told him their relationship was over.
“
I thought my life could not possibly get any worse. Until I was dumped by the woman I love. I was devastated beyond repair, said Martin.
That's when Martin, penniless, near homeless, destitute, demoralized, and bereft, decided to browse the web, desperately seeking a solution. He came across Euro Grand, a brand new online casino just legalized in the UK, offering new players 25 free spins. Euro Grand gave Martin a chance to win a progressive jackpot of more than 1 Million pounds(£1,000,000).
Since Martin had nothing, he literally had NOTHING to lose. Martin's luck was about to change in a big way. He played the game, and won. He played again, and kept winning. It was incremental at first, a few pounds here and there. After a few spins, Martin won a progressive jackpot on the Euro Grand game "Gladiator" of £175,000. He thought it must be a hoax.
“
I never had any luck before...except the BAD kind. I was the kid who always lost the raffle in school, and was knocked out first in musical chairs. This was the first time in my life I won anything, and boy it felt amazing, he said.
The next day Martin's story appeared in the local paper. His friends called and texted to congratulate him. Melissa, his ex-girlfriend, opened the newspaper and could not believe her eyes. She thought there must be a mistake. She called to congratulate him. No answer. She texted, emailed, Tweeted, used IM, and tried almost every other means of communication to say she was sorry.
“
I never stopped loving Martin. It's just he always had terrible luck. My parents felt he was not driven and motivated, and encouraged me to do better. After he was fired for the seventh time, I simply could not handle it. But he will always be the man I love, said Melissa."
Martin does not rule out the chance of reconciling with Melissa. But for now, he loves his life as a wealthy bachelor, all thanks to Euro Grand. Melissa says she will wait for Martin, as long as it takes. She is desperate to have him back. Asked if she has any regrets, Melissa wonders if only she'd waited one more day before breaking up with him, if he would have not discovered Euro Grand. We may never know.
Think this could be your lucky day too? Note: This is a limited time offer from Euro Grand. You can get your 25 FREE Spins by clicking here. Hurry, as this offer ends midnight March 27, 2015.

On a similar subject, it's uncanny how many footballer's WAGs discover that their man has cheated on them (usually with umpteen bimbos) but quickly take him back to give his money another chance.

Clicked on your link spelling.
FFS a million wouldn't buy that house let alone £175k. Then I thought maybe they'd used your gaffe for expediency. Any pics if the girlfriend before I come to a conclusion on whether he should take her back or not. |
