I used to quite like Goldenballs. Liv Boeree the poker player was a contestant on it once and she stole.
Anyone remember Shaft with Robert Kilroy Silk? That was great but got axed after a few shows.

Friend of mine was one of the few contestants on the three broadcasted editions of Shafted with Kilroy Silk. She was at uni in Belfast as they were trawling round desperate to find contestants. She (by her own admission) doesn't know much general knowledge, but went with a friend to an audition. They were so desperate for female contestants that they offered her a part on the show. On the way home, she got a call from the producers who remembered that they hadn't asked her any of the sample questions which they were obliged to do, so they asked her whilst she was in the car with her mates. They whispered her all the answers she needed and it confirmed her place on the show.
Due to the knockout nature of the quiz, she only needed to answer two questions (both total guesses) right to get to the final part. She didn't really understand the rules, but she was asked whether she wanted to "share" or "shaft". She genuinely didn't know what either meant, but said "shaft". Apparently it meant that the other guy got nothing and she won £25k!! She didn't even realise it was real money - I kid you not. As a student it was a huge amount; as I recall, she bought a new car and gave the rest to her mum
