Was down the pub in the week and we had a pack of these on the table and your bog standard(my pick) ready salted walkers. Matey tried your beef ones and said " i do find the ridged ones more pleasurable". Sounds like he had set up the line but was just a genuine mistaken double entendre. Anyway bet I havent told this very well, but it was proper funny at the time, took about five minutes before the giggles and guffawwing ceased.

![]() I hate paying over the knuckle for any product. I can buy a 14 packs of Tayto Cheese and Onion for £2 (another delicasy) and Brannigans would get me 2 and a half packets for the same amount. Is that value ![]() I play poker, that's not gambling ![]() |

I'm pretty sure that was me Ovalman, Brannigan's roast beef and mustard are the Rolls Royce of crisps, I love 'em. The best sports pub near me stock them, a quid a pop but I'm worth it as the fella once said.

If you can't get roast beef n mustard, what about WASABI flavoured crisps in Lidl - a quid for a huge bag and they're fantastic. |

Sorry - can't stop laughin' here --
![]() ...U2 always have a box or two in their dressing room post-concert...supporting the Irish crisp industry...having said that - about crisps at a concert ...crisp vendors... ...get yer cheese n onion crisps just after "Where the Streets Have no Name" is played...then they switch to smokey bacon for "Pride - In the Name of Love."I went to see U2 at Murrayfield during the Achtung Baby / Zooropa period and we took boxes of chocolates and tried to hand them out to the crowd but no-one would take them in case they were doctored...the chocs eventually got trampled under foot, uneaten. |

Anyone who is accessible to a Poundland store would be wise to take a look in there for their favourite crisps at knock down prices.
This is what are on offer currently, at just (yes) £1 - including 5 packs of Brannigans Roast Beef and Mustard flavour crisps. That's 20p per bag, not the outrageous 85p per bag often seen in pubs etc: http://www.poundland.co.uk/food-and-drink/sweets-and-snacks/crisps-and-snacks |

If I ran a pub I'd go back to the traditional free bar snacks.
Only one pub around here does it and he only does it for us locals. Nice roasties olives fries quality nuts or crisps. Happy days. |

Yeah I got a couple of bags containing 5 packets in each at Poundland, they are also selling 3 single bags for £1, not sure if the bags are bigger. Will see when I restock in a day or so

On the recommendation of the gourmands on this site, I ventured around Poundland and managed to secure two multi-packs for a total of £2.
To the uninitiated, I can confirm that they are potato crisps and have a taste like a plain potato crisp but with a coating of beef and mustard flavouring. I suppose they add mustard powder to a crushed oxo cube. Genius. |
