...start the Spring Cleaning?

Only today I moved the bookcase and as well as about an inch of dust/hair under there I found three coins totalling 30p.

Hoping the sofa, chairs, computer desk are going to be similarly giving.

Spring cleaning!!! What age are you from?

This harps back to the '50s and was probably necessary as people had coal fires.

Decor and furnishings were dark and miserable so dirt wouldn't be obvious.

Today, because of bright and light interiors, we clean everyday (don't we)?

Everyday?

Once a year, in the spring, by the sound of it.

I don;t like spring cleaning. Its impossible to get the mattress back together afterwards. Plain

As it happens, I'm cleaning some of my carpets today, but they get done frequently in any case.

I think loads of people still do a spring clean.
We started on Sunday and it will include a touch of painting, renewing ornaments and pictures.
Lots of small diy items that have been put off for whatever reason as well.

I found £500 in £50 notes in an old tin I'd forgotten about at the weekend.

Aye would have been winnings from a bet.  From February or June last year.  Was holding too much cash at the time and have three hiding places for stashing cash if I have excess.  Thought the tin was empty.

Reckon you could start it at anytime.

I dont really go in for the 'big' clean, indoors. Thats not to say it doesnt get cleaned. What I do, do however is a garden/shed clean up in the Spring. Clear up any dead wood, tidy the bushes & trees etc. Nice find tho Clydebank.
