Are you saying IVF is wrong in any sense ? Anybody can be a parent technically, but do you really believe that being a 'mum' or 'dad' is the same thing ? Are relationships between adoptive parents and their kids somehow less valid ? As for 'nature' seriously, we'd half of us be dead if it was left to that... Your child needs a vital organ transplant - no ta, that's not nature's way  Really, why does this issue bother you, what are you really angry about ?? |

One cannot pretend that two people of the same sex can give birth to a child(in fact they don't), again one needs a man and a woman We are contradicting about 150,000 years of evolution. I do not believe we can get away with this |

full disclosure: my company is currently in negotiations with the happy trouple in regards to selling them a set of matching triplets* sourced from Western Africa, but we have a strict "love" policy that stipulates the owners must have gone through some ceremony where at least one wears an expensive white dress (other colours are permitted) and/or the ceremony is conducted in a fancy building with a big bell and/or a tall pointy thing on it. *some major genetic differences may show up in subsequent testing but at point of sale all babies will look more or less the same according to our independent adjudicator. |

What nobody can know yet is the result of "engineering" things, whether it be science, eg. GM, or whatever, medical science, like having kids without a mother, multiculturism and unbridled immigration, and so on and so on.

Who knows what the psychological or genetic make up of these engineered humans will be like - or their off-spring, or the off-spring of theirs? Does anybody know with certainty? In my lifetime, medical science has got it horribly wrong occasionally ... e.g the development in the 50s of a "cure" for morning sickness. |

Not sure I'm happy with IVF. Often live embryos are destroyed to prevent multiple births. It's Russian roulette. The issue I have with the gay lobby is that they got where they are on a ticket of tolerance and diversity but when opposed they say 'our way or no way'. Somethings are best left alone. Mum Dad and kids is a pretty awesome blueprint across the world and has worked for thousands of years. Why compromise just because the gays in the media and parliament say so? |
