Good evening, gentlemen.
I'd like to build a spreadsheet (using the free Google software) to manage the results from a local pool league.
They employ a twelve-frame format whereby each weekly match is contested over nine singles games and three doubles games. Basically, the home team enters three different team members down the score sheet in a 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3 formation and the away team then puts their men down as 1, 2, 3, 2, 3, 1, 3, 1, 2, ensuring everyone plays each other once. The three doubles frames then follow (any two players can compete) to complete the match. One point is given for each frame won, so anything from a 12-0 win to a 0-12 loss is possible.
Ideally, it would be nice to access an individual player's average statistics (both in singles and doubles) as well as team scores and any other interesting stats etc with the minimum of fuss.
I'm a relative novice regards spreadsheets, so any advice from the Chit Chat cognoscenti before embarking on the project would be much appreciated.

No, sir, it's only twelve frames. Each match lasts about an hour and a half.

 , the times i've watched pool games each game takes 30 mins plus, so much tippy tappy stuffmust be more of a fun league  |

Well, it is fun, but it's also taken quite seriously as there are some very good players participating. The trend around here very much favours the attacking style; the tippy-tappers don't tend to do too well.
