Will they be awarded grades based on their course work to date and teachers' assessments as to how they would have done in the exams?

I missed my GCE 'O' Level History exam (no course work - just hard exams in those days) many years ago because of illness.  All I got was a course of anti-biotics.

I'm not sure what criminal charge could be brought against them. They have travelled to a foreign country. That's about it, really.
Of course, with my very limited interest in things in general, I might be missing something altogether. I seem to recall that one of the girls is travelling on her sister's passport. But that's about it, really.

Are you expecting them to return? I wouldn't imagine that they'd be allowed to. They are useful as meat for their Jihadi 'brothers'. I'm not too sure they'll ever be allowed to leave.

There's news that 3 boys from the UK have been picked up in Turkey on their way to Syria.
