I might get the audio books, BB. Our chemist has three shopping trolleys full of books, sold for charity. Think Archer still has 2 books to write to complete the series.

Not to be confused with Geoffrey Archer the thriller writer.

As the Crow Flies is a good one, it's about a chap who after WW1 sets up a Harrods type establishment.

That's Lord Archer of Weston-super-Mare to you.

I don't know about Thatcher knighting paedos, but in Archer John Major ennobled a perjurer, plagiarist and p1ss-poor novelist all in one.

I think we should think about this - PONDER on it - that JK Rowling is a dire trumpet as is the woman who wrote "50 Shades of ****hawkery", not to mention Dan Brown...so...in this world, it clearly pays to be dire...Sad

And then there is music, with the genius known as Kanye West...and then there is Fine Art with the genius known as Tracey Emin...etc.

We were on the A14 yesterday and a red car passed us with the number plate 'EMMIN',  with no spaces between the letters, which is illegal.

I wonder if it was her?
