So this guy decides to open up a sandwich bar in Dublin City .
But all he is selling is sandwiches with crisps between the slices of bread.
Cheese and onion is the top seller.
he opened last Tuesday morning, and guess what,
you can not get in the door with all the customers he has.
the shop is packed all day long with people looking for crisp sandwiches.
Who would of thought of it.
Good luck to the guy.
And the guy has reserved the rights(pattened) so that nobody else can copy his idea.
expected to join the millionaire club within a month.
great story.Happy

A Cockles and Mussels stall would go down well in Dublin.

Crisp sandwiches, patented?
I think this highly unlikely.

Would like to know what he charges bearing in mind that there may well be less than a whole packet of crisps and if he is organised
should be getting a good trade deal.

Actually you would need to be pretty thick to be paying more than £1.00 tops for the convenience rather than bringing some from home.

If it was April 1st I would say this is a joke!

But it isn't as just checked it out. They already have one in Belfast.

"So this guy decides to open up a sandwich bar in Dublin City" . This statement is completely wrong!

£1 ??!?

A packet of crisps would cost you 70p in a shop.
By:

If you pay 70p for a small packet of crisps they must see you coming!

This is Tesco's.

Walkers Cheese And Onion Crisps 6X25g
Any 3 for £4.00
Offer valid until 24/3/2015
£1.50(£1.00/100g)
Add to basket

equal to £0.25 per pack, or £0.22 per pack if you get the 3 for £4.00.

there's a cafe/restaurant in London that only sells Cereals - varieties from around the world and probably 30 different milks to have on

packed out and queues round the block to get in daily

I've often stuffed crisps into a dull homemade cheese sarnie. Wouldn't go into a cafe and pay money for it though.

The Oirish are a simple lot though..

First made in Edinburgh - 1983, unemployed, bongmeister!

Not exactly a novel idea. They have been eating pieces on crisps around here since the beginning of time.

I've been eating crisp sandwiches ever since I can remember and still do to this day. Bovril crisps was the flavour of choice way back then but my favourite crisps these days are Brannigans roast beef and mustard. The Rolls Royce of potato snacks, for me.

A wise choice but pretty expensive. Poundland were once selling 10 packets of Roast Beef and Mustard for a quid, haven't done so in ages though. I stocked up with loads of packets but they were gone pretty quick.

Walkers are the best crisps still.

Ridiculous that people would actually go out and pay a premium to eat out in an establishment just because the food is prepared by someone else.   Can't see this idea catching on.

The Dublin shop is only a pop up shop open for 10 days donating profits to charity. Can only explain why people would pay for crisps in a couple of pieces of bread.
