They must have made the pitch deliberately bad like that as I assume it didn't look like that when in Premier League and must have undersoil heating etc. Looks worse than the local Council pitch.

The board refused to fund salvage work when the pitch caved in after a very wet November. Parkinson, the manager is not at all happy.
