just skirted across the guardian site - amazing how many foreign names associated with the most horrendous crimes. It's not just eastern european lorry drivers wiping people out on the motorway!! Witch craft, honour killings. 17 foreign men sought by police for very serious crimes believed to be on the run in this country etc etc etc. What on earth has happened to this country - why has it been allowed??? We have people who live here with a foreign cultural approach to life. And don't even mention the muslim grooming gangs in each town!!!
Regardless of their nationality, the punishments for serious crimes are far too lenient. The punishments need to be an awful lot more severe as a deterrent.

If anyone is suggesting that only indigenous members of the population are committing crimes, then please check out this tableau of tax fugitives from HMRC. . https://www.flickr.com/photos/hmrcgovuk/sets/72157631087785530/
I think that indigenous peoples especially indigenous women are under-represented

And no-one said none of our indigenous population ever commit a crime either.
But while you're here ebulGery, name any US state with a high % of white people. just for fun ...

@ebul All the OP is pointing out is that an inordinate amount of serious crime is down to peep with foreign names. The proof is in the media every day. So how is pointing that out racist?

Yes, and it's pretty clear where the racism is coming from. It's from people like ebulGery who are happy to have net-contributing law-abiding tax-paying permanent legal residents as neighbours but not allowed to vote on 7th May. Say no to tax racists - and say yes to government being accountable to those it governs.

We are back on this are we Bongo Since this country is the UK, the people who vote for our government must be citizens of the UK, that is not unreasonable
If I want to Spain to work for 3 months and paid some tax I would not expect to vote in the Spanish elections because I would not be a Spanish citizen
Voting has nothing to do with paying tax

akabula • March 4, 2015 11:01 PM GMT ebulGery I am not interested frankly That's why the country is in the state it is in. Too many peep like you hiding their heads in the sand.
That is because I cannot do anything about it aside from use my one vote in the general election and vote for a party who oppose immigration.
The people who can do something about it govern us, they have the power, I do not
Actually that post of mine referred to Bongo asking me about the % of whites in states in the USA

There are many other types of activity that get the word British, National, or UK stuck in front of them. None of them say you have to be a UK citizen to get involved. But suddenly when it comes to an election, stick the word UK in front of it, and people like ebulGery are arguing that it is 'not unreasonable' for the tax-paying law abiding permanent legal resident to have no fecking say if he's foreign. That is unadulterated suffrage-based racism.
This is the little islander mentality that the UK is something special, that we welcome the net contribution that immigrants have made, but no way will we let them have an opinion that counts. Oh no, they might even oppose a party I don't like. Desirable as that could be, it's more important that we continue to disenfrachise them in the eyes of these little islanders.
