perhaps they are not now since the factory closed a couple of years ago, but they used to be made at Ashby de la Zouch at the United Biscuits plant. A mate of mine's wife used to be a boss there, and they used to be crapping themselves when they knew the M&S inspectors were visiting as they were so strict. All of M&S's biscuits were made there as were the McVities range and KP nuts.

THE MCVITTIES THAT THEY SELL IN MORRISONS AND OTHER OUTLETS USED TO BE MADE IN LEVENSHULME ,THE FACTORY IS STILL THERE BUT THEY MAKE OTHER MCVITTIES BISCUITS THERE INSTEAD , THEY MOVED PRODUCTION TO SCOTLAND ,WHERE THEY MAKE THEM TOO BRITTLE AND ARE NOT THE RIGHT TEXTURE,IVE PHONED THE CUSTOMER CARE DEPT UP ,SHE SAID SHED NOTED MY COMMENTS AND GAVE ME A VOUCHER TO GET SOME MORE THEY WERE AS BRITTLE AND BROKEN IN THE PKTS SAME s i COMPLAIDED ABOUT , THEVE NOT BEEN BROKEN LATELY SO MUCH ,BUT THEIR STILL NOT THE SAME

IVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM I BUY THE MILK CHOCOLATE CADBURYS FINGERS INSTEAD 85P FROM ASDA A BOX , IVE EATEN 2 BOXES ALREADY TODAY
