My wife and I were watching some boring indoor bowls tournament on the telly and there was a player called Mervyn King mentioned. It struck a chord with us because we have a family friend who is also called Mervyn King. My wife said "that's weird, he's the only other Mervyn I can think of and he's called Mervyn King as well."
We then tried to think of other Mervyns and the only two I came up with were Mervyn King the darts player and Mervyn King the Bank of England chappie. So, basically, me and the missus only know of four Mervyns and they are all called Mervyn King!!!!
