Just this minute got back g2d in time for the France/Wales match, we all had a good few quid on Palace so that result and performance was the icing on the cake. What a great atmosphere it was and when we went 3-0 up the Palace faithful were beyond delirious and they pretty much sang non stop for the entire game. At the 12 minute mark I had to block a shot that just went over the bar which was heading straight at my hooter at great speed. It would have splattered my nose if I wasn't paying attention.
Waving goodbye to the many West Ham fans who left 15 minutes early was a very nice touch by us I thought ![]() A very good afternoon was had by all although I don't think our man pumphol would agree too much with that sentiment somehow ![]() |

What a win. I loved the abuse that fat bloke got. I don't normally condone bullying but I must admit that was funny today. Didn't get in the ground until 20 minutes in owing to nonsense on the tube. West Ham were dire though. I thought we only went in front at HT because they were so bad. In the end we could have run up 6 or 7.

Indeed Barry, the fat bloke in the blue shirt got plenty of stick for most of the second half, that was rather funny indeed.

Good stuff, Slips. So you had the pleasure of watching the worst international fly-half in the history of Rugby Union. The fatboy had another beaut of a game. He must be getting some serious chummy love from the Frog management..

well deserved win for palace, although it would have been more of a game if west ham had turned up... I would dump fat sam tomorrow if only there was a suitable replacement in the wings, but all the media speculation is around moyes and bilic ffs

Yes MisterBadger, the Hammers were a big disappointment to the home crowd and there was a bit of booing towards the end by them but no doubt we deserved the win. To be honest although we all backed Palace I would have settled for a point beforehand, you have to think we are pretty much safe now to stay up I would have thought. I had a cousin with us today for his first ever live football match, he's only 13 and is now a lifelong Eagles man, poor sod

How you doing Slippy...? Just returned from celebrating a most welcome victory, you all seemed in good voice today, going to have to make the effort to get over for a game, my son keeps on at me to come over, his last game was a rather depressing nil all draw with Forest a few years back...!
Thought Macarthur made a big difference when he replaced Mutch, goes about his business diligently and without fuss but always makes us look a more solid unit, the Jedi's elbow was the only sour point, as captain and already down to 10 men he should not have had anything like that on his mind, very poor from him and no doubt he will be punished after the amount of time the media spent on it. |
