His records were good but even before the paedo stuff blew up, it was apparent from live footage that he could no longer hold a tune and was just shouting into a mic -- so much so you have to wonder if he was on the records at all in the pre-autotune days.

GG made some great tunes and was always very watchable as well, great stage presence. He wasn't the best at miming though Grin I still play his vinyl sometimes. LEADER!

Shame about the young girls, if only he'd kept to the 15 and 16 ish year olds he'd have been ok. Sad end for him but he had a good crack of the whip. And I do feel sorry for the very young ones he abused, he was obviously a sick man to be fancying them that young and should have sought help for his illness.

one of the best live shows I've seen. I saw him pretty much at the bottom of his career when he was doing small clubs, a sad sight as you could see patches on his outfits where the sequins were missing. Ind Coope sports club with probably 200 attending. We used to have a trip near Xmas from our boozer when he became popular again, 5,000 at the NEC for 3 nights sold out and not many did that in those days. It's terrible what he has done but it does not erase his place in British music and other artists he inspired. Even if you think his music is crap I'm sure he is still comforted by the half million he royalties he still makes every year.

Amazed all this was not brought to prominence when he was at the top or when he was previously jailed ,seems amazing the amount of time that has passed ....

The worst decision since Abe Lincoln said to his wife, I'm sick of kicking around the house all day. Let's take in a show.
