If you regard one national newspaper as representing the media then okay. Don't you include the BBC and all the rest? Nothing about this on the regional pages on Teletext or the other BBC news outlets. Yet the main headlines are still running the Paris incident. Why the obsession in the media with one so called racist incident, and so little coverage of what is effectively a white colour bar in the UK? |

I agree it should at least make the BBC regional news and I didn't see it yesterday.(I live in the West Midlands region). Will see if it's reported today following the Mail article.

In Birmingham there is an excellent arts venue, The Drum, which is supported by Birmingham Council and the Arts Council. It's mission statement:
The Drum’s mission is to lead and facilitate the development, presentation and celebration of creative, performing, visual, participative and digital arts for the benefit of all our communities. The reality however is that there are no white acts or activities. Everything is non-white illustrating an obvious racial bias. I'm not suggesting that there is anything sinister going on. I've been to some great gigs there, but if a venue had a policy of being totally for white people I'm sure the race card would be played. http://www.the-drum.org.uk |

The BBC are running a second item about racism chanting by football fans. Apparently there is a report that some was heard at St Pancras station.
Yet I can't find anything on the BBC's website about the white family being forced out of their home by black racists. Why aren't the BBC covering this appalling black on white racism, when they fall over themselves to report any hint of racism committed by white people on blacks? |

Why are the BBC so hot on reporting bits of verbal racism from whites, but when a situation of really serious racism occurs like this white family being forced to move home they don't report it?
