Go out from the station head left go up infirmary street by City Square where there are a lot of bus shelters turn right cross the road
head left down St Paul's street then second turn right straight ahead . |

look out for those temporary traffic lights.....top end of Piper Street, past McVities, up to the bank on Birdhall Lane. There's talk it's all going to be one way now

Noce pub, you tend to get, or did, a lot of the blegal people from the law courts over the toad. I've heard their meals are fabulous.

A very beautiful place, particularly for those who work there. I had an office on Woodhouse Square for a few years in the late 60's Nowhere near as grand as is Park Square, but very pleasant to enjoy some sun, with the 60's "dolly birds"... :-) |

It was a very nice area indeed, Aunty. Lovely old moderised buildings and a nice big lawn opposite. Had a couple of pints of Taylors in the Tavern, afterwards. I was speaking with the landlord and he told me all thir meat comes from here.
