want another one? 30% of the UK's foreign aid, which is £12 billion a year, is going to be distributed between what are known as “fragile states” which include Pakistan, Nepal, Sierra Leone, Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria and Democratic Republic of Congo. A body called the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) has been set up to check these countries really need the money, and that it is being spent correctly. The trouble is these countries are so violent bar Nepal, that the ICAI are too scared for their own safety to check the money is being used for the things it was given for, but they are still giving them the money anyway.

and another one for you. It transpires that we give Argentina £50 mill a year in foreign aid via the EU, which makes our contribution to the Argies £7 mill a year. Is this money going to pay for the deal they have just done with China to buy fighter jets? Well done EU you know it makes sense.
