all this in the news today about driverless cars finally hitting the streets today is guff, I know for fact Land Rover have had one going around Coventry well before last Xmas.

Google have been testing them for years. The only time one was involved in a crash was in 2011 when the driver took over the controls.

Five people a day killed, and about 60 seriously injured, by careful human drivers in the UK (in 2013, anyway, the safest year on record) the machines are going to have to go some to beat that record.
