Anyone know of item s or property exempt from this?
Burton brewers mentioned woodland is it tax free the other day and it got me wondering.
I gave been stashing precious metals which are not listed in my will but I have left instructions for the family where they are and who for.

For the government and/or sad act socialists to stop you avoiding inheritance tax they’d have to basically abolish cash and make all gifts taxable.

I put this in the tax avoidance thread which seems to have ?disappeared?

Because of the 7 year rule you can pretty much LEGALLY avoid inheritance tax.

Our money is in property. Maybe best to sell up when maples older and just buy her a house and party with the leftovers.
