My second biggest hate. I'm always picking it up.

Not a problem here except on some of the pathways into the countryside.
Fortunately we have some people organise locals to clear, been on a few.

Why blame the council they don't throw the litter, it's the lazy b******* who can't keep hold of stuff until they find a bin are to blame.

Funny how people can carry a takeaway when there's food in it but as soon as its empty they have to throw it on the street.

Tto be expected, really, a typical comment from the 'i have my rights to throw litter it is someone else's responsibility to pick it up' mindset.

THIS SHOULD BE TAUGHT BY PARENTS AND SCHOOLS,ITS BASIC LIVING IT SHOULD BE LEARNT BEFORE MATHS AND ENGLISH ETC,SO SHOULD YES PLEASE AND NO THANKYOU ,ITS CALLED MANNERS LIKE SAYING EXCUSE ME ON A BUS WHEN YOU NEED TO GET PAST SOME ONE ,THE FIRST THINGS TAUGHT SHOULD BE ,HOW TO LIVE IN A CIVIL SOCIETY ,

The thing driving me up the wall at the moment is people round my way putting household rubbish in the street waste bins. Bags get split open by birds/foxes etc so we have the pleasure of walking past their rubbish every day.

Why not out it in your dustbin and wait until the bin men collect.

Dog **** is my pet hate (i have a dog) i got out the car the other day and some bints dog is taking a **** and then walks off, i walk round the corner and say ' are you not going to pick up your dogs ****?' she says 'did he do a poo?' and walked off , felt like picking it up and throwing it at her. bitch.

This should not be a problem when it is so easy to train trash collectors. They just pick it up as they go along.

When I was in Germany I never ever saw any litter anywhere, I think the police shot you if you dropped any

although I think it was as Do Wah Diddy says it should be here, there kids had been brought up never to drop any

I agree with Pandora as well, but it puts up council tax, our dustbin collections get further and further apart as it is

Anyone caught not picking up their dog mess should be fined a grand, that'll learn 'em. It's a real bugbear of mine that.

Totally agree with Slip ,Doggie bins should also be provided to encourage people to do the right thing ,either that or deploy snipers on roofs ..
