Silence of the lambs

I watched this for the first time in a cinema in Toledo, Ohio, when it first came out. It was a midnight showing and I was the only person in the theatre. When that music started in the scene in the basement when he's getting dolled up, the chills went down my back. Such a great, atmospheric moment in a great film.

No doubt it was an excellent film and the scene that Cobblaz picked out with Buffalo Bill dancing to 'Goodbye Horses' was indeed very powerful. Well worth another viewing.

The Mads Mikkelson and Laurence Fishburne series is also excellent.

Saw it at a cinema near Asda in Brighton when it first came out. I know I had a Kia-Ora and may have had a Cornetto too, but I can't be sure.

You sure it wasn't a choc ice and not a Cornetto screaming? We need to get these things sorted.

Supposed to be pitch black in that scene.

There's no explanation for his shadow on her back.

I may not have had any sort of ice. I do remember sitting down next to my mate Pete and his second wife and suddenly realizing I wanted to fart as the lights went down.

There was a cat in it, and any student of the film will know it played an important rile. 99.9% will not!

I remember now. It wasn't a Kia-Ora. It was a tin of either Sprite or 7-UP. Either way there wasn't much in the way of Silence of the Lambs in the auditorium that night.

My girlfriend at the time said would you like to see that new film. ...A Slice of Lamb.

If I go out on the p*ss with my little brother, he knows that come the point in the evening when we are both totally ruined, he can say one of three things to me and a nuclear-style runaway reaction will occur.

Either he says 'Robbie Keane is better than Jermain Defoe,' which normally results in us getting barred from the pub we are in at the time.

Or he says quietly in my ear as we walk to another pub 'One Y!d went to war......' which normally results in us both getting arrested, threatened or attacked.

Or he says "it puts the lotion in the basket" which ends with us screaming "PUT THE ****ing lotion in the basket' at each other for a couple of hours.

Fortunately, we don't see each other very often.

Gadzooks jed.davison, that is all a bit weird I have 4 brothers and we don't get up to that sort of carry on.
