Malcolm Nance, the executive director of the Terror Asymmetrics Project on Strategy, Tactics and Radical Ideology thinktank and an expert on counter-terrorism and radical extremism said “[Fox News] are literally – literally – working for al-Qaida and Isis’s media arm,”.

Fox News is Murdoch.  Sky is murdoch as is the Sun Newspaper.  Is it fair to say, by extension, people in this country that fund SKY and the Sun Newspaper are funding an organisation that works for Al Quaida and Isis's media arm?  Strong words, I wonder if anyone would dare say it out loud? Perhaps I will.

There is a small possibility that there is a peaceful, fun loving, accepting, and understanding organisation just bursting to get out of the monstrosity that is ISIS...Crazy

No boxing, I don't think that's a possibility at all.

Malcolm Nance is literally - literally - talking sh!te.

Not sure what I think about them having the video on their site. Nobody is compelled to watch it. I have little doubt that many who will condemn Fox for doing so have already seen the video on one site or another - I have not, nor do I intend to. At least Piers Morgan is glad he watched it.

“The whole value of terror is using the media to spread terror,” he said.
Seems a reasonable statement?.

That part was literally not quoted. What you quoted is obviously just a rewording of the famous Lenin quote.

that quote is in the article, attributed to Nance.

Mike I have not heard the interview, just read the link posted above. are you saying that the following is incorrect.

Malcolm Nance, the executive director of the Terror Asymmetrics Project on Strategy, Tactics and Radical Ideology thinktank and an expert on counter-terrorism and radical extremism told the Guardian that by posting the video Fox News was propagating “exactly what Isis wants to propagate”.

“The whole value of terror is using the media to spread terror,” he said.

I know that rob, but it literally wasn't included in the 'Fox works for ISIS' bit that you quoted, to which I was responding.

I do disagree BTF. I'm not sure why publishing still images is morally any different from showing the video, tbh. As I say, nobody is compelled to watch.

I think all of Murdoch's 175 publications around the world supported the Iraq War.  He was in cahoots with Blair all along, I'm pretty certain of that.  The Sun signed up lock stock and fking lock to the 45 minutes from armageddon tag line from the sexed up dossier.  I think, the day after that dossier was issued and all the headlines in the gutter press, was the one and only time when support for the war edged into the realms of more pro-war than anti-war.  allbeit briefly.  Seems to me all this ISIS stuff is largely down to Blair (with Murdoch's support) going into Iraq and killing Saddam on a pack of lies.  Saddam was the only one with a cat in hell's chance of controlling these daft headwrecked fkers.

I don't disagree with you Mike, any publicity, is surely propagating their cause. Sad. A mate told me earlier he wished he had not watched it, I have no intention of viewing it.

No payment but he gets to meet people who can put lucrative business his way
plus he swans around the world in luxury.
