the Hobbits re at MATAMATA- we did Hobiton a few of years back as they were starting to tart it up for the Hobbit films- the party tree is real

was driving the East Cape on the 6th- as we drove through town of Gisborne it had a quake- i didn't notice anything- it was a bit cold- 18C- so after stopping for a few minutes we headed south to Napier- recommend Churchill for fine steaks / wines.
