Germany about to take full control.
all the fat cats of the world live there.
the ECB is a private company(bank) owned by the fat cats and it looks like they have pulled the plug on the lending.
At this moment this is only my own opinion but I think the fat cats are in the mood to start a global recession.
A REAL BIG ONE.

Brassneck, for once in modern times it's not just about wealth protection, but a wider changing World view, with unstable players.

ok,this is my view,i think that the super rich (fat cats)of the world (about 20 people who own 90% of the money)don't like what is going on around the globe.
Their main objective is to get rid of everybody that is middle class, and have a two types of people in the world.
RICH AND POOR.
These fat cats control everything, from the price of a cup of coffee to a third world war.in fact the population of the world needs adjusting in the next 10 years ,so war is a vital statistic to keep the population down .
in fact I believe its governments that go to war not ordinary folk.
And the fat cats are at it.All the trouble in the world could be stopped in 24 hours if the powers that be wished it to happen. But in this world the fat cats get what they want, and at the moment they want more money. So any way they can make more money and improve control over everyone in the world they will do.
that's why we are heading for a world war and a world wide
recession,so the fat cats can get more cream.

I think that the head of the fat cats(king cat)is a guy called JP Morgan(or one of his family)and Rochchild and Rock(a something)are his second in commands.
Their main objective is to keep anybody who has less than a few hundred trillion in wealth in the gutter.
These guys already rule the world and control all governments.
Anyway, that is how I see it,so I will not go on about it any further ,I just felt like sharing my views why the world is a disaster at the moment.Somebody needs to take control before it gets out of hand altogether .otherwise we will end up blowing up our planet with another Enola gay present from someone to someone.
N.B.this is only brassnecks opinion ,so don't lose any sleep over it.

Since no one else will lend Greece money, how they are going to manage without money

Greece defaults on his debts German and French banks take a big hit

So I suspect a deal may be reached.............eventually

The Credit Crunch did us some damage

most of the wealth in that table is property value - but then how do you assess the value of a house country to country ?

Germanys low value is from the low ownership

the bailout for Greece and Ireland came to just under Euros 400 billion, up to 2012 the EU has wasted Euros 600 billion on funding alternative energy schemes.

Yes I thought that coachbuster, I suspect the average German enjoys more material benefits than most of us
Report ebulGery February 6, 2015 11:19 PM GMT
You have a point BB, but alternative schemes offers the promise of long term benefit

That bailout was just money down the drain. Although was needed to hold the EU together

The problem is that if Greece leave or are chucked out,the euro will drop to junk status and this will start something really big in the world of finance.Because England are top traders with Europe sterling will get sucked in,and it will end with every country ending up broke ,causing poverty and unemployment on a super massive scale + a massive global recession.Anybody with money in the bank should start to worry because if Greece exit there will be a stampede on the banks by people to get their savings, but the banks will not have it and will close. This will cause violence and mayhem in every city and town all over Europe as everyone becomes bankrupt over night.

Report brassneck February 7, 2015 12:01 AM GMT
I am giving a worst case scenario ,but I really think it could happen.or course on the other hand a super duper world war would sort out the problem and put everyone back in employment and we could all live like the Russians 50 years ago.
but it seems to me that the powers that be have already made plans and have them on hold at the moment just in case the worst case scenario should unfold, and the same powers that be have about 5 weeks to defuse the situation.
but it looks like the unstoppable object has come up against the unmovable object and the fuse is lit.
Sounds like a film but this is reality.

Shocked

Perhaps this is why Greece are holding out. They have reasoned the EU needs them rather more than they need EU.

A deal must be reached

Loans are not much use to the bank unless they are paid back

Although interest is paid on these loans, if the bank do not get that, then it immediately becomes a bad debt

which is probably not going to be recovered

The Credit Crunch demonstrated this.
Report ebulGery February 7, 2015 3:52 PM GMT
I do not think Greece have any co lateral on these loans have they?

An ordinary person will have their house which they will not want to lose, so they at least pay the interest or, they lose it

Of course this depends on houses increasing or retaining their value

If they do not but start losing value, especially a lot, the bank cannot recover their money

There you have the US sub prime mortgage market

Another free money scam blown, and a lot of the World's economy with it, banks went down like dominoes

The government's held up the banks, but they now have unsustainable debts themselves
