WHO told Scottish pensioners they'd lose their State pension if we voted Yes? WHO told immigrants they'd be repatriated if we voted Yes? The whole BT/No campaign was built on lies, disinformation and dirty tricks. Even the head of the Civil Service broke protocol and got involved, and even Liz herself chucked in her tuppence worth. I told you months before Sept 18th this would happen and I was proved right. The British state stinks. |

Good. In my neck of the woods we tend to take a more sensible approach and vote for the candidate rather than the party.

Sadly, 'your neck of the woods' probably just means 'your house'. I vote for candidate, rather than party too. Most people are voting for the party leader, and potential cabinet at best. Something that I f*cking despise because it leads to the sickness of sycophantic whipping politics. |

Scotland would be in dire trouble had the yes campaigners won.
The oil industry is imploding and we would have been facing a massive problem with our economic model. Still the lies continue with Nicola continuing where wee eck left off by refusing to give a straight answer as to what effect it would have had. The future is bright she said which is more than can be said for Nicola with that sort of response. Thank god that 62% of the electorate didn't vote for independence. |

Of course the oil will still be there be but only because it is proving too expensive to extract as a result of falling prices.
There was a business study commissioned and revealed yesterday that concluded that unless there was massive investment more and more fields would be decommissioned. Note more and more! That means some fields have been decommissioned or are going through the process already. An Aberdeen oil firm made 300 workers redundant last week, hardly the actions of a thriving industry is it? Salmonds indy plans budgeted for £7billion from oil revenues. Currently it's realising £1billion. A yes vote would have seen us in the grubber even before we became independent. BTW not sure what living in Aberdeen has to do with this. |

Tullow oil lost £1.3billion last year because of the drop in price.
Axed their dividend payment and say it'd too expensive to explore any new fields in the North Sea and will be concentrating on their West African operation. Shell and BP announced cut backs their operations with off shore workers made redundant and others asked to take a 5% pay cut. Well if the North Sea Oil industry isn't imploding it's making a damn good impersonation of it. |
