Dramitizing the Weather to make themselves sound important

It's an English thing.
Gales - you lot batten down the hatches whilst us Scots look out our hang gliders and kites.

And hold your skirts down..

We've stopped wearing our kilts.
We were getting too many advances from English visitors.

In a fit of prescience I've come to expect wintry weather every winter.
Haven't been disappointed yet.

Drama Queens in the Extremes.

The largest waste of money in the whole of television. And i include all the reality shíte in that.

And they are getting larger! Metinks the Masons are involved..

Also they give good advice like wear a coat as its going to be cold or don't make any unnecessary journeys (this applies to all types of weather.)

gales force winds for the unlucky ones most of us wont see them
minus 6 but for most above freezing

whats that all about,feel theyve got to mention everything in case it happens,more annoying is spending hours giving us the weather in new york or bejing who gives a chuck

we can just look at charts to, someone waving where they think norfolk is and reading whats on chart doesnt add anything

trouble is we lack exciting weather in the southern UK , t-storms ,torrential rain ,hurricanes,tornados ,blizzards and drifts  etc

in reality we get some of  the most predictable weather on earth ,boring maritime -  like Seattle, Tokyo, Vancouver,Paris  etc

They even brought out a new weather this week: THUNDERSNOW!!!
What will they bring out next year? Hopefully something like INSTANT DEATH RAIN.

There could be a Yellow alert before we know it. WTF does that mean?

The Weather presenters will do well to out-dramatize Norman Smith that's for sure. Profoundly embarrassing scenes again at lunchtime today, including the impersonation of a drill. I can just imagine John Cole doing that. Not.

still haven't had any laying snow for over 2 years and i live in the coldest part of the UK for the  2 months of the year  (10 Dec-10th Feb ) - also the hottest for 2 months .

Santon Downham Norfolk  i believe has the coldest nights anywhere in the entire UK  - though may have to check

Thetford has colder average nights than Inverness by some distance 

Never mind the actual weather, let's just berate the yank i wannabees.

It is all Americas fault after all. Celebrity weather 'stars' abound there..

Also has colder nights  than Leeds,Stoke ,Newcastle and the Orkney Isles   YEAR ROUND and colder at night than the Faroe Islands  in winter 

Buxton may be  colder ,but it sits at a higher elevation  so no winner there
