Looked like a small version of the middle of the Cob

It was a long time ago but I noticed what I assumed what was an interesting seed or herb pod on the top of a Sainburys pizza.Turned it over to discover all of the little legs sticking out.Posted the beetle to them in a specimen pot(had access to these things on account of my job).They sent me a voucher for 25p (that's twenty five pence) off my next shop.

Foul stuff. The smell makes me nauseous. Fish (any kind) on the same plate as sweetcorn is my idea of utter food hell. 

I would rather rim Ann Widdicombe whilst waearing an LFC kit...

TBH 1 maggot or 100 pieces (must be at least that in the pic) of sweetcorn. Think I would prefer the maggot.

Fox I don't know how common place this is but I went fishing with my father in law once along with his mate who kept maggots in his mouth to keep them fresh.
Honest. I couldn't even look at him and it put me off ever going back with them.
