Can you check the video please. Wondering whether to go see them. I'm a bit knackered but there should be plenty of chicks there.

The Paul & John look like they should swap. I don't know why the other two look like they're from the Ramones. They play ok, but haven't made any effort to sound like them vocally

Anyway I didn't go. Most original Beatle's fans are staying in  with their slippers on, and a mug of cocoa. The spirit's willing etc.

Blimey, where did you see the Silver Beatles aka'?

Kenny I once had the B side of a record recorded by the Beatles, my bonnie recorded in Hamburg I think, gave it away, what a plank. I've had too much to drink to remember the a side, by some minor act.

I saw The Beatles on the opening date of their 1964 tour, chaps, at the Gaumont in Bradford. Nice to see them but couldn't hear a thing. All those teenage girls screaming and clambering all over you to catch a glimpse of the Fab 4 was awful. Wink

Kenny me and 2 mates went to the cinema to see Help with our girlfriends.
When we came out one of the girls had chewed the cuff of her blouse.
There was about a square inch missing which she must have swallowed.
they certainly had an effect on the females and that was just in the pictures.

Yes she was very animated later on.
On reflection I should have taken her to see the film every night it was on.
I wonder which one I was in her mind. Laugh

The Beatles first experience of a professional recording studio wasn't that they thought it would be. They were signed as the backing group to Tony Sheridan (who?) who was a rocker from London, during one of their first trips to Hamburg, Germany. They expected to be taken to Polydor Records German place for 'state of the art' recordings. The ened up in a Hamburg school hall recording 8 tracks which have haunted them since.

The original deal was for them to back Sheridan on a single, 'My Bonnie/The Saints' but that appeared as a single credited to Tony Sheridan and The Beat Boys in 1961. Either in that same session, or a maybe a year later as details aren't too clear, they taped 6 other tracks, four while supporting Sheridan and two on their own. The latter was an instrumental, 'Cry For A Shadow' and Lennon's first recorded lead vocal 'Aint She Sweet'.

spellingandgrammarchecker, thats the one, I bought it for 14 quid at a market in Hampshire about 30 years ago, only played the B side, (played the A side once, I think) Is it worth more than the £14 now??. if so I'll get it back, only joking Laugh it was not in the original sleeve though.
