This reminds me of a mate who went to a Q&A/stand up night with George Best and Rodney Marsh about twenty years ago. Marsh was asked "Who's the better player in your opinion, Giggsy or Best?" To which he replied "I'd say they're about the same........But George is thirty years older!"

Messi is probably the best player ever, with the possible exception of Pele. Deluded Liverpool fans should stick to comparing King Kenny with Stevie G.

JIMMY GREAVES was better than both, not just the greatest goalscorer but footballer Britain has produced.

How can Messi be the best player ever when he is not even the best argentine player ever.

Messi's stats are arguably better than Maradona's -- though Maradona has the highest achievement in football: he won the World Cup with a pub side.

Maradona - overrated

Dogleash - vastly overrated

The only things they had in common was fat arses and Dogleash wins that particular contest.

Messi - better than the above 2 fat arses put together..

Reminds me seeing Don Bradman interviewed in about the year 2000 when he was asked how many runs he would get against this poor England attack. About 70-80 runs he replied. The interviewer looked surprised by the greatest cricketer of all time who averaged 99.94.

Well I am 87 years old now said Bradman.Grin
