Do you ever have it, in fact do you ever see it.

Only asking because someone on CDWM produced a one pint (I assume that's what it was) glass bottle from the fridge.

Can't remember when I last saw a milk man....

I have bottled milk delivered.

They deliver every other day, nowadays.

2 Pints Monday -  One Wednesday - 2 Pints Friday

Top up other needed milk when I shop at the Supermarket.

Handy for in bad weather - or you are feeling unwell - and you have run out of Supermarket milk, and don't feel like trudging round there.

A small (extra) price to pay for the assurance, and convenience of not running out of milk.

And you're keeping people in work onlooker, I too get deliveries. The supermarkets sell milk at a loss for two reasons; one is that it brings people into the stores, but secondly it is to drive the milkmen and smaller retailers out of business - once that's achieved expect your supermarket pint to double in price and people won't have a choice over where to buy it.

Small sprigs of holly printed on the foil top of your milk bottle is an essential aspect of Christmas imo.

Frozen milk in the winter lifting the foil top off.

Thick sour milk in the summer when left in the sun.

As I said before, I don't think I could get it delivered by a "milk man" if I wanted to, as never see one for years.

How much do you pay for your 1 pint, delivered?

One pint of semi skimmed is 0.97 at the village shop. I pay £1.00 for four pints, at the supermarket/mini market.

If you are worried about running out just keep a couple of small cartons in the freezer.

A far as  keeping people in work, I take it that those who have milk delivered will also have coffee and tea from "Ringtons",

cleaning and other domestic products from "Beterware & "Kleen-Eeze" and cosmetics from "Avon".

Now, now, Aunty - that last post is  both totally irrelevant, incomprehensible - aswell as ridiculously untrue.

The only milk I use is Alpro Almond milk, £1-59 a litre at Morrisons. It's reduced to £1 now and then, and I get a gallon or two in.

We started ordering milk from to milkmam thinking it would do someone a favour and keep them in work. Idiot didn't turn up for a week and left 8 pints on the doorstep one day.

How do you 'milk' an almond?
The almonds used by Alpro are all harvested in European countries
by the Mediterranean. After they are picked, they are peeled, lightly
roasted and processed to a 100% pure almond paste. This paste is
mixed with spring water to obtain the absolutely delicious Alpro®
Almond.
