Thought not.  They really are the sh1ttest fast food stuff going.  Cheap to make but expensive to buy junk food that has pretty much zero nutritional value.  And are the least tasty of all fast foods for my money.

89 pence. Who said you can't eat well on a budget?

proper thin crispy base, wood oven, quality fresh toppings, hard to beat as a snack food imo.

Tesco Big Night In meal deal. £6 for 2 decent pizzas and I had chicken wings and popcorn chicken as a side.

Thought that was a good deal and the pizza wasn't bad for a home cooked one.

Saying that, I agree. Pizza is over valued fast food junk.

What's not to like about pizzas?

I tried them all and my favourite is a £1.50 peperoni from Morrisons! Blush

Years ago I went to Rome and had cold Pizza from fast food street sellers.

I normally cook a decent dinner on a Sunday and I usually eat pretty healthily but thought I'd try that meal deal. Must admit I was impressed.

To clarify, you can't buy pizza worthy of the name in a supermarket.

12 year old daughter made one at school , after the scones and Victoria sponge I was dreading it,iwas the best I've ever had ,think it' was to do with the way she just chucked it together and the 17 quid on ingredients ,

Bless her Love

I sometimes do them in the summer to show off to guests but they do nothing for me.
Report conditor January 25, 2015 7:26 PM GMT
I'm not one for guests either bud

Totally agree about fresh v frozen v shop fresh. I don't eat much junk food, maybe pizza every 6 months. First I've bought a shop made one in years which I quite enjoyed. I've also made the dough myself and nothing beats that as Conditioner says.

Can't imaging me eating Pizza again for another few months however.

Aldi 4 cheeses thin base.

Quality product for 99p. Just need to top up yourself with a bit of grated for the perfect pizza.

All chain pizzas are rank imo. Bitter tomato sauce, rubbery fake cheese, and more grease than An engine. SupermRket pizzas are not much better. The only pizza I have ever really enjoyed was from a little Italian place in Villiers Street by Charing X station? Lovely thin and crispy with salami and rocket. Delicious. Never had as good since.
