I'm with the OP in April - add a Windies tour, and the crunch matches in the Prem, FA Cup and Champions League and you're onto a good thing - probably the best day of the Snooker is the Wednesday of Week 2 when all 4 quarters get decided and that's almost always April too

March - Two of my favourite sporting events of the year, The Cheltenham festival and the Six Nations rugby tournament happening. Add to that the football season coming to the boil and the annual nail biting fest as to whether Palace can stay up or not. Plain
