Looking at the Monster Raving Loonies as a dot in the rear view mirror.
Before you disagree, read this, listing what's in the actual real manifesto, that lets face it most people thinking of voting for them have no idea about.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/green-party/11356354/Drugs-brothels-al-Qaeda-and-the-Beyonce-tax-the-Green-Party-plan-for-Britain.html

I do also find it strange that UKIP (who I do NOT support, I'm pro Europe) got lots of grief for things that are a mere fraction as nutty as that!

I think it's a safe bet most people vote for them because they think they want a bit more recycling, protection of greenbelts, and help with insulating, that sort of thing. They've no idea about the raving lunacy they actually have as official policy.

Which part of the manifesto as described isn't accurate?

EN110 A green Government would cut energy costs across all sectors through demand reductions and improved efficiency. We will set clear and consistent targets and timetables for improving efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all sectors of the economy. We will require energy use for space heating, and electrical use to be reduced by a third by 2020, by half by 2030 and by two-thirds by 2050, based on 2012 final energy demand levels. Specifically, we will aim to reduce total UK energy demand to 900 TWh/year by 2030, and to 600 TWh/year by 2050, i.e. reductions of approximately 40% and 60% respectively on 2012 final energy demand.

The England football, rugby and cricket teams would no longer play against countries where “normal, friendly, respectful or diplomatic relations are not possible.”

As I said, it is interesting that the BBC/C4 news go after UKIP for ever silly announcement, but the Greens are off the scale mad as a box of frogs, and you have to go to the torygraph to actually point this out. It doesn't seem balanced, regardless of what you think of UKIP, (who are still at least on the scale mad) Laugh.

The current Green Party leader is awful. At least Caroline Lucas came across fairly well.

They would be better keeping Bennett off the TV debates. She will cost them plenty of votes.

The monarchy will be abolished.

There you have every dictatorial movement's number-one target: get rid of the head of state so you can ignore the constitution.

£71 pw free to everyone - 'as a right of citizenship' - someone tell them there is no such thing as citizenship please.

Open door policy on immigration. 'Richer regions do not have the right to use migration controls to protect their privileges from others in the long term,” the party’s policy book states.'

Access to benefits, the right to vote and tax obligations will apply to everyone living on British soil, regardless of passport.

Hmmmm..

They plan to tax personal gifts - apart from those received on marriage (wonder why that might be?)

What's not to like?
Once the economy has crashed we can go back to such healthy pursuits as breaking the ice on the water butt in order to have a wash and sh1tting in a hole in the ground on our allotments.
