and he cant appeal Silly

Gordon Ramsay has lost a High Court battle with his father-in-law over a “forged” signature on a property deal after a judge ruled that “regret” over a bad business transaction was not grounds for a legal bid.

The celebrity chef had claimed that a "ghostwriting"Crazy machine was used to forge his signature without his authorisation, meaning that he should not be liable for the £640,000–a-year annual rent on an upmarket London pub.

The judge refused Ramsay permission to appeal against his decision. He now faces a legal bill totalling more than £1million.

I bet he flipped and flopped about it when he got outside the court.

Flipping this and flopping that.

and the lesson here ........ don't go to Court unless you have to.

Regret over a bad business transaction, he was hardly on solid ground from the start, and surely must have been advised he could lose and face a massive legal bill, or he was so bloody mad and fuming about it he went ahead anyway.

Big Mac was another one who made a bad decision to go to Court after C4 dropped him, and that bad decision cost him a big legal bill.  And he was hardly on solid ground either.  He was very unlikely to win that case from the start !

The lesson he should learn is never ever let anyone else be in control of your finances.

@Hound-Dog-2 -- Big Mac decision was mildly surprising; no idea what Ramsay was thinking though -- as you say, best advice is to avoid m'learned friends.

Highly unlikely i would suggest as his brief can smell a nice tasty earner.
