Ethel Lang (née Lancaster; 27 May 1900 – 15 January 2015) was a British supercentenarian and, at the time of her death, the oldest living person in the United Kingdom, the eighth oldest living person in the world, the second-oldest living person in Europe and one of the 100 oldest people ever.
Lang was born at Worsbrough, near Barnsley, to Charles and Sarah Lancaster and married William Lang in 1922. They had a daughter, Margaret, in 1923. Lang's mother lived to the age of 91, and her great-grandmother until 92.
Lang was the last living British person to have been born during the reign of Queen Victoria.
