Plenty of candidates but I will get the ball rolling...

Robbie Savage - no comment required.
Greg Wallace - can someone explain his popularity to me please?
Pommie Mbangwa - Giggling like a child and having an annoying voice should not get you a career in every cricketing commentary team worldwide.
Eamonn Holmes - Even his missus looks embarrassed when she's on with him.
Jeremy Vine - On both TV and radio, is there a more patronising man?

Roll up - plenty I have missed I'm sure.

This may be a common misconception that only people that have done a particular role are suitable for it. It seems very much that once they have the gig, very few are chucked out despite their continual awful performances and horrid personalities.

Forgot Graeme Swann - a classic example of what my colleague above stated - decent enough cricketer, smug w***er on everything else. But the Beeb seems to think that all us licence payers enjoy his "witty" commentary.

Funny his Swanny Ashes Diaries were cancelled in Oz as soon as it became apparent we were getting tw*tted all over the country. Not quite as funny then...

Add Jamie Redknapp to that list, dire no matter how sharp the whistle

Alan 'Master of the Bleedin Obvious' Shearer.

And all are grossly overpaid for what they do.

The BBC should advertise Alan Hansens job by saying
"Wanted, Football Pundit for MOTD. Should have a good footballing knowledge, be able to string two sentences together without talking in cliches,
and shouldnt be too up himself.
Salary £40,000 per annum, with negotiated bonus every 2 years.
Well, what else would you expect for 1 days work per week for 40 weeks. Its still £1000 per day.

Alan Green. A miserable professional moaner who thinks people tune in to hear what he thinks, which is usually how awful something is.
Report Jack Hacksaw • January 14, 2015 6:47 PM GMT
Agreed.  It is a mysterious wage market, that of the bbc football pundit.

If there was a proper market, the limited supply of jobs and the massive demand from the hoards of ten a penny ex-footballers would drive wages down to your £40k.

Better still, get ex-refs on as most of the stuff discussed relates to decisions and the pundits don't even know the rules and their interpretation.

Robert Peston - obviously an intelligent bloke but put him in front of a camera and he is truly shocking.

Mike Hallett..a cliché-ridden bore who can't keep his gob shut
Report ThommosBucket • January 14, 2015 7:46 PM GMT
Two quality additions. Peston must be close to disappearing up his own a**e and Hallett is dreadful. If he says "what can you say" one more time I swear to God  he will get the answer to the question posed by that other idiot Virgo - "Where's the cue ball going?".
Report Just Checking • January 14, 2015 8:03 PM GMT
Peston likes to build up / make the story, not a good quality in a journalist for a broadcaster like the BBC.
He's more suited to a UK version of "Fox".

Olivia Coleman - a very average actress who seems to be first port of call for any tv drama.
Report fife • January 17, 2015 4:59 PM GMT
Cant believe you said Olivia Coleman is an average actress Gin as I cant think of one program where she has been poor.

Football commentary - Dwight Yorke
Cricket commentary - Nick Knight
Newsreader - Charlie Stait
Panel shows - Matt Dawson

Impossible to fathom why producers book these people.

eampn holmes doesnt really offend me although he has a superior air about him
had to laugh last week when he was discussing them climbers with someone who had done the same climb, and was telling holmes it wasnt really dangerous
holmes actualy believed they didnt use safety ropes and if they slipped that was that, seemed genuinly shocked when the bloke told him they might have fell slipped dozens of times on the climb, LaughLaughLaugh

you mean the eamonn holmes who hid behind a woman when he was scared of being hit by a fathers for justice protester

or the eamonn holmes who went and cried to the bbc about the fat jokes and got them banned, the fat ******* **** that he is.

talentless narcissistic cowardly waste of space.

james corden, nick knight, greg wallace ( in particular how he still gets a gig when it's so obvious on professional masterchef that no-one, from the judges to the contestants, gives a **** what he thinks)
Report ThommosBucket • February 1, 2015 3:32 PM GMT
Would like too remove all other candidates now and just leave one of my originals in Greg Wallace having just caught a minute of him on some crap on the BBC. What an arrogant, talentless pr1ck.
