Tried to buy PREbiotics at Holland and Barrett today but left with PRObiotics as that is what the sales lady handed me. That was a new one on the telly last night as I had never previously heard of PREbiotics. Obviously, the lady at the shop was getting them mixed up.

Chocolate pellets and Mickey D burgers taste great but I'm starting to wonder : What if you did everything right?

Many thanks to Bix and Just Checking for their contributions regarding FERMENTED foods on the original thread, which has now been jettisoned like a Bristol Chart jobby doon the pan.

NEVER!

Coconuts are only good for Baloo the Bear to wear as a bikini!

Isn't it funny how long distance memories play tricks?

I really thought Baloo danced in the Jungle Book in a bikini with coconut shells making up the top half of his costume - but on looking for photographs of the same, I have found that he used the shells to disguise his mouth.
Well there you go then - another memory coconutted!

Cabbage ONLY, please!

Coconut is just too, too sweet and sickly.

I want VINEGAR!

Very nice, Tommy - the drawings are terrific.......am thinking of including "The Vicarage Garden Wall" on all my thread titles from now on, as a trademark, like the guy who paints locomotives and paints wee mice in the corners.

I buy coconuts from time to time. Not for me though but to attract wild birds to my garden.
Criminal to feed these birds on bread as it does more harm than good. So don't decry the coconut.

Best trademark I ever saw Vel was the wee Scottish guy, builder I think, who used to paint his green vans bunnets brown cos he always wore a brown bunnet.

Man, you are all gonna be SHOCKED when I do my research and formally uncover the health benefits of fresh coconut, like a coconut-white silk sheet being removed from a naked slab of coconut still in its green pod thing.

I love a banana fritter in breadcrumbs soaked in syrup and then plastered with coconut.
Glad to know I'm eating healthily.

Have this feeling that - "you're never going to die" is the worst possible news.

Yup - like the last half chapter in the Julian Barnes book, "History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters." Very funny too.

I've not been well recently.  So we should fade away for a while, until my strength is back.  Ironic that half the people trying to help us are trying to stop us?  We should embrace them - and then pretend to be good.  They're so gullible - they want to believe us/you.

It's a good job I believe you.

No, I was pretty near death.  The coughing hurt so much.

Name a vague date.  We can eat some of them, dump many into the lake and then teach the survivors correct English grammar.

I believe in redemption.
