Visited Tesco today and one of their much heralded price reductions, Marmite, had dropped from £1.70 to £1.69 for a 125ml jar.  The company has lost the plot, taking customers for complete mugs.

Another product I buy, a twin pack of potato salad and coleslaw was been promoted under a "prices down and staying down" banner, when in fact the cost had risen from £1.40 to £1.60 for the same weight.  They had just changed the packaging a bit.

You can't even talk to the staff about it as they take it personally.
