i lost respect for fry when he wrote a book, taking great pleasure in telling everyone how he took drugs in places he shouldn't. Seems to have become a 'national treasure' can't quite understand why.

Even in the my piece i found from wikipedia about him they seem to be falling over themselves to suggest it was all a misunderstanding "He had taken a coat when leaving a pub, planning to spend the night sleeping rough, but had then discovered the card in a pocket". but it doesn't point out that Swindonds 100's miles away from King's lynn amd he went on a spending spree on the run.
