Didn't bother me one way or another if I ever had it again.
Thinking about it - I haven't had it again.
However, if someone gave me a round of toast with Marmite spread on it I wouldn't turn it down.
I'm definitely a 'meh'.
Definitely.I had some years ago and thought it was okay. Didn't bother me one way or another if I ever had it again.Thinking about it - I haven't had it again. However, if someone gave me a round of toast with Marmite spread on it I wouldn't turn it
that's it then, I'm putting in a request to get these adverts banned, they've had a good run but you have confirmed my suspicions, there must be many meh's out there, false advertising imo

I told the formidable future (don't tell her that) Mrs O that it was made from the residue at the bottom of Guinness vats. But that they couldn't label it vegetarian, as the way that they test if the Guinness is 'ready', is to run a mouse across the top - if it sinks, it's not ready. Most vats lose at least a couple of mice before they get the consistency spot on, which is why it's not suitable for veggies, who instead buy vegemite.
She won't touch it now, for some reason - but the jars last longer

I did 3 months in a galvanising works in Bow when I was about 17.
We used to catch rats (facking vermin) in cages, then stand the cages on the hot plates over the coals of the fire that kept the zinc molten.
Once we had 6 of the verminous bastards trapped, we'd open the gates and the rats would come out at top speed to get off the hot plates, and we had already bet on whose rat would get furthest, before it went up in a puff of smoke.
No rat ever made it all the way across, which was hardly surprising as the temperature was 860 degrees.
