Don't store your chocolate in it. It doesn't fare well against bounty hunters.

£900 is it this time? I hadn't even looked, just did the maths on previuos ones like this.
"Build a real life matchbox filled with real matches! Each match lovingly sent to you with history of matches magazine, first issue £1 (then in small print 84 issues in total, RRP £12)".

Some of these are cons, some are not. The DeAgostini ships are not cons, they actually come very close to the real price.

Not sure about this one. Would have to look into the model more. Some sci-fi models cost an absolute fortune.

Did you know people pay over 4k for a Lego millennium falcon? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0017V21EY/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_3?pf_rd_p=569136327&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B004OT8HJO&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0DHYV7SRG89PWE8FBNFB

Might be worth it though.
I'm guessing "do you want to come back and see my toy millenium falcon kit" is a nailed on line down the pub, worth every penny in clunge.

Kweeveen, If you don't have modelling as a hobby and have decent skills, it's a complete waste of time and money. But modellers generally have more than one project going on at once. I currently have 3. HMS sovereign of the seas, HMS Victory cross section and a longboat. When you have so many on the go, the time between issues doesn;t matter as proper modelling takes time. It's not all just a dab of glue and away you go.

Ive been researching a new milling machine and while reading up on hobby mini lathe websites  I saw this dude who made toy cars.
He was about 80, they were pretty good and very accurate, but it made me laugh as he put and old B/W up on the site of him doing it when he was about 8
Been at it for 70 years or so, I wonder how many affairs his mrs had in that time?

Don't be fooled, these hobby model-makers are at it like knives, every one of them.  This collecting nonsense is just a front for dogging groups, wife-swapping parties and the like.

Ask Treble.  Wing Commander Woody his username is on the fetish forum.

Better check the wife's phone unless she is working your milling machine! DevilDevil
He probably got more pleasure from building his models than anybody will ever get from fretting over his wife's fidelity.
Even so, I would hazard a guess at Zero affairs. I'll bet she was doing the de-burring and painting. LoveLaugh

And making the cups of tea.............obviously.
